Owners manual for the '10 TSX recommends 91 octane or better (comp ratio is 11.0:1), probably the same on the new Si, you could use lower but that comes with reduced engine performance and risk of damage.

"In keeping with Honda's proven commitment to the environment, the Civic Si engine meets strict Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV-2) tailpipe emissions standards."
That means that it will probable see a good gain in hp and torque with just a header and exhaust.

Bisi and other people are already publishing dyno charts that seem to say exactly that.

I thought the header can't be changed, because it's integrated into the head?

That is hard to believe that the header is integrated. My mouth dropped. So that means no Skunk2 header install or Vibrant Header install.. why would they remove the customization aspect of that engine.

I'll stick to my EG/EK type civics. the only way i would ever consider buying a new gen civic SI, is when civic gets with the program and starts boosting!
