Is your car equipped with VSA?

It's awful. I could not get into my driveway last winter, which has about a 30 degree slope, because there was about 5 to 6 inches on the ground. I was literally stuck in the street.

Blizzacks FTW

If you have never heard of/had a set of blizzacks and live where there is a decent amount of snow, you HAVE to get these tires. They turn any car into a tank.

i have an 06 and i use dunlop wintersport m3s and i only got stuck 1 time in my driveway(but its at a +45* angle so i was kinda asking for it..) but i did get it out without getting out of the car so idk if that counts as "stuck"..

I drive 40 miles to work and when on the highway i have never had a problem with getting where i needed to be.

my only complaint is that the car is soo freaking boring in the snow. you almost have to pull the brake to make it fun..(but then again im used to awd..)

I have to say, the EM2 is actually better in the snow than the FG2

Sure I've driven in the snow. With Blizzaks. It drives fine in the snow. It's a low-powered, FWD grocery-getter man, not a Ferrari.

It's also a high-revving low-torque FWD. Not the greatest snow-mobile.

i wouldn't know about turning the car into a tank but they work great... for a canadian winter i think i did good last year ! it's mostly about not being lazy when it comes to shoveling your way before trying to get out of a parking spot and getting used to the feel of the car in the snow/ice

the stock all seasons are for light snow, not snow storm tires. you cant blame the car, you gotta know what your getting into before you leave the house the blizzaks are a pretty penny over some michelin snow tires.
