So my 2007 Honda Civic's alternator went out and I replaced it. Car started up just fine after doing this but I was getting a grinding noise from the serpentine belt after doing this. I drove the car like this out of necessity and the A/C was blowing cold. The A/C stopped blowing cold air this morning and where the noise was coming from near the serpentine belt has reduced although still noisy compared to before. I am trying to find out what to replace and do now. I have a tensioner pulley assembly and new belt because I thought this is what will need replacing to stop the noise. Now that the A/C has stopped blowing cold air I am trying to figure out what else I need to replace I know that the serpentine belt also goes over the A/C pulley?
