I really would like to learn how to build my own k20/k24 swap and install it myself. There are no shops around here that specialize in Honda's or even performance cars. I had my car in the shop yesterday to fix a taillight issue I am having to no avail. At night, when I have my headlights on, my tail lights do not come on. My brake lights work, but the back of the car is totally dark. It isn't a fuse, and for some reason the wires to have the tail lights are not getting power. If anyone has had this problem, please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone is local in New York and has a shop I would love to work for someone and learn how to work on these engines myself. I no joke would leave my law firm at 5pm and work for free in exchange for some training on building Honda engines and general mechanical knowledge. I am going to try to paint my wheels white this weekend. I did not want the car to look ricey, but I bought red center wheel honda caps, along with black lug nuts to replace the crummy rusty ones on the car now. I am hoping the white wheel paint job along with the red center caps will give the car a nice factory look without looking to corny. After I get the wheels done I want to start working on the engine bay. I want to replace all the rusty bolts, paint the valve cover, and generally just clean up under the hood. I have been looking at coil-overs as I am almost sure the struts are bad. I have been circling around the Tein coilovers and have been contemplating painting the valve cover the same green as the coilovers. God I wish I had alot more money!!!

Guys I HAVE AN EMERGENCY I need assistance with. My tail lights are not working. My brake lights work when you hit the brakes. My blinkers work, but when I turn my headlights on my tail lights do not turn on. Since I still haven't received my title I have been driving the car unregistered. I have insurance but no registration. Please help.

Do you have a FSM ??? You will need to trace the running light wiring from the dash back to the tail light bulbs.

I believe it must be a bad switch in the headlight/blinker stalk off the steering column. This seems to be one of the few possibilities as the wires to power the running lights is not getting any power. I am going to order one on line when I get paid along with ordering all the paint needed to refinish my wheels. I will keep you guys updated. I will also be charging my air conditioning system this weekend.
