2006 Honda Civic Si - Wheels and Rims Setup
Hello again! Quick question. I have a desire in the future to put esr sr01 rims on my civic, probably the gold or white! However, I don't know what the right tire size is in order to get a good fitment! I probably will need to lower the vehicle after or before! I don't want hellaflush or lowlife!
Just a good ride and fitment. Would like to avoid rolling fenders as well! Give me your opinions on what would be the best route!
Thanks

Re: 2006 Honda Civic Si - Wheels and Rims Setup
So my current setup is 17x9 +35 offset. I ran some numbers through willtheyfit.com and found that 17x8.5 +30 offset has pretty much the exact amount of wheel poke as my current setup. If you aren't looking to do any fender rolling I wouldn't suggest going any wider or any more offset than the 17x8.5 +30. I am lowered, but not by much, and I managed to avoid having to roll my fenders by driving with about 2.5 degrees of camber in the rear. Make sure you have all of the components for adjustable camber before you get the wheels because the rears will not clear the fender without some camber. The fronts should fit fine though.
Just for reference, a 17x8.5 +30 wheel will stick out almost an inch and a half wider than the stock wheels.
