Ivtec don't deprive yourself friend...I don't need to tell you this but you are not fully experiencing the technology that honda pioneered and perfected.....What a waste if you ask me..
You will baby your car and then trade it in one day or sell it to some kid one day and he will beat the crap out of it for years to come and utilize the car to it's fullest!.....Use it up dude

Hey greg50lt, your at 207whp, so your floating around 240bhp?
With I/H/E is it possible to reach 125bhp per litre on stock internals, stock throttle, and intake manifold with this k20 variant with FP?
My second question is out there for anybody...

I'm not sure what the difference is between whp and bhp on this car.but with flashpro I think it may be possible to reach the 125 per litre.

50 minutes east of pittsburgh is hybridynamics they tuned my turbo and it couldn't run better. I would think it to be worth the trip for you.

what i noticed also about intakes on our cars and experimenting with the injen sri and the aem sri on both afm/maf and map calibrations, is that if your intake has vanes for the maf, just stick with the maf calibration as for on map, you will lose bottom end. if your intake doesnt have vanes, run map. cuz my aem sri doesnt have vanes, and it drove a lot smoother on map calibration then it did on afm/maf

Will flashpro work on a mac?
the only info on hondata's website I could find about mac's said "You may be able to use flashpro with systems other than windows XP but it is not supported" paraphrased.
I also have a Windows comp so it's not a big deal, I was just curious.

Oh okay.
Anyways, I've been saving up for coilovers but I think Instead I'm going to go with flash pro and some sway bars.
Anyone know of an experienced shop with flashpro/SI's in Orange County?

Re: ***The One and Only Official Hondata FlashPro Thread***
hey so about a month and a half ago Ross asked this:
but there was never really a clear answer.
would it be worth it? i do plan on putting my intake back on and adding a full exhaust with cams in the future.. but maybe not for a couple years. i am waiting to land a stable job that would allow me to (worse case scenario) total my motor and not think twice about it.
or should one just wait to get these items installed first?
Let's just say someone were to use the FP on a totally stock Si motor, no mods of any kind and using the base tune. What could you realistically expect?

idk about the stock motor. i cant see how it would hurt you. you will be able to use the flashpro for every mod you add.
Max i have the Takeda SRI, DCRH, Greddy evo2 catback but im running the dump.

if theres a calibration for the takeda, its just going to be takeda sri, race header, and hi flo cat and stock exhaust

Re: ***The One and Only Official Hondata FlashPro Thread***
there isnt a tune or calibration for a sri, catback and catless race header?
if i do run the takeda calibration do i just fine tune it to meet my specific setup?

yea u can do that.
the only legit setup is the cai, skunk2 header, and catback.
which is why i was contemplating on a cai

on the Factory VTEC calibrations i could never really seem to go from first to second with out the VTEC window dropping out and back in really quickly and believe me, it's not because i'm not shifting fast enough... i haave a Takeda sri and Skunk 2 60mm and that helped the VTEC reactivation go faster but with Hondata FlashPro first to second, never leave VTEC...
so in my opinion, if i didn't gain a single HP those 2 things were worth the money spent in my opinion...
(now i just have to play around with it to get more familiar... oh yeh and put my Vibrant cat-less header on too haha!)
