My buddy in a Type-R was chasing me and he has his go pro on the outside of his car so should be interesting lol... I pulled on him a few times but he is a better driver so in some corners he was on me pretty hard.

A little here and a little there over the years just for something to do, never had $700 at once for Flash Pro...lame. maybe a full revamp mid next year, forged R20 internals Mfacktory LSD/final drive bla bla. I'd almost rather just park it for a corner decoration in my shop and get a platform with more "options" but in all honesty, I have years in this car and the platform or "maximum potential" is not that big a deal. Its my car, Nuff said. Of course I am always working on my "full rebuild list" like most of us are, we shall see.

Hey all, I just joined but think I was a member back when I had my 2004. Now I have a 2009 Civic LX auto that I bought new. It has just over 95k on it, a K&N filter in modded airbox, and MB weapon 16x9 wheels.

Just detailed it so it is ready to rep 8th gens at a local car show tomorrow.

Hey guys! Just bought my 2nd 8th gen. I used to drive a 2010 EX coupe (some of you may have known me as Slowtech over on 8thcivic.)

Anyways, between then and now I lost my ways but no worries! I'm back, with an 07 Si. I don't know what it is but I'm in love with these 8th gen coupes. They're so attractive IMO.

Good to be back in an 8th gen...looking forward to contributing around here!

After lots of research I have fixed my AC. Like most it was cold in morning and hot in after noon. I did all the normal things...had system evacuated and recharged, checked leaks, replaced the two under hood relays cleaned condenser, you name it I tried it. By accident on a recent search I learned there is an AC reset sequence you can do. I will list it below. I think the second sequence actually did the trick.

-turn car off to 0
-press recycle button and both defrost buttons hold
-start your car release buttons

I think this one did the trick but try both....

-turn car off to 0
-press recycle and rear defrost only hold
-start car release buttons

Then I turned recycle back on and holy cow AC started dropping. Yes, it still cycles but blows 40 degrees now. It cycles between 40 and 45 or so. The 40 degrees was at idle. I hope this works out there, we pic our civic.

I'm new here and have been looking/searching through some posts, but admit I do not know much about where to go for the best parts. I have seen some dealers within the threads promoting coil-overs/valve-stems and so assume there are some quality parts to find here with some effort. I have an automatic 09' Civic EX-L Sedan that is a little screwed. I need new headlights and a front bumper cover, the foam underneath is also smashed. I have a replacement rear bumper, but have yet to mount it (been busy and not focused on ride). I have decided to keep my car for another 5 years and want to enjoy driving it again. I am looking to swap stock shocks for coil-overs, move from stock 16" wheels to 15" wheels ( http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/ShoppingCart.cfm ; I am not clear about inset), change-out head/taillights, and add some performance options to increase horsepower (without making my car too loud) and hopefully smooth out the transmission shifts. I found CARiD.com, but would like to hear recommendations and suggestions for best online parts stores. Thank you.
