Hey i got a question,I have a 09 si sedan and i got a set of mugen gp's fronts are 17x 7.5 +48 and the rears are 17x 8.5 +59 the rear comes mm away from the shock while the suspension is loaded. i got buddyclub n+ racing dampers i was wondering if this wheel fitment would work okay without any rubs from the front or rear, if i'll need to roll the fender and recommened tire size, please anyone help.....

You need spacers, offset is way too high.

Yes you need spacers. Why did you buy AP1/2 spec wheels?

Bridgestone RE11, Dunlop Z1, or Falken Azenis RT615K?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

why would you have to roll your fenders with such a high offset? The smaller the offset number the closer it is to the fender. 59 is going to sit closer to the motor then the fender in the front.

Default 205/60/16 tires for 07 Civic LX ?

Hi all,
First post on Honda Tech. I'm looking for your opinion on mounting 205/60/16 winter tires on my 07 Civic LX. This is a 3.16% difference in diameter compared to 205/55/16. I don't care about the slower speedometer reading, but would this cause a safety issue?

I'd prefer downsizing to 15 inch (195/65/15), but I've been offered these almost new tires for free. I don't want to play cheap, but I'd be stupid not to consider the offer.

Let me know what you think.

You will be perfectly fine. If you can get the deal, take them ASAP.

i honestly dont think you'll have any trouble. i had 17x8.5 +30 and it barely rubbed at all and i was at the same drop the skunk2 springs give you.

It took me 3 days but I have viewed all 4000+ posts in this thread. There are a few coupes in this thread on RPF1's. Price+Weight+SizeAvailability = there isn't a better wheel for the money. They don't look too shabby either

just my .02

You will have no issues with rubbing with that offset. If you can fit 235/40's on OEM wheels with an offset of +45 mm on a 7" wide wheel you will be fine.

What's with all of the anxiety? Did you buy the wheels before you knew your limitations with the car?

well.. since I didn't want to bump up a 4 month old thread and created one that ended up getting locked.. here is my question:

right now I'm running 18x8 +43 wheels lowered on Tein S-Tech's on my 07 FG2.

I've been looking at upgrading to a more agressive setup. Will 18x8.5 +25 fit? I will be running 225/40/18 tires on them.

Default 17x8.5 +40 235/45 fit with HPF suspension?

Looking at a set of Enkei PF01s in that size, maybe in 8" wide and was wondering if they will fit or if I'll have rubbing issues? Car is with HFP suspension, and would like 17x8.5 if it will fit...

17x8" will be +35, 8.5" will be +40

Car is 2011 Civic Si Coupe.
