Re: ***OFFICIAL Suspension Thread***
I have heard that Stance GR+ offer our cars a good ride for DD and still hold up to the track. I also noticed that KW is coming out with the V@ coilovers for our cars. I am a 2008 FA5 currently on HFP with comptech rearsway any body have experience with the above coilover setups?

Re: ***OFFICIAL 8G Suspension Thread***
Ok so I picked up a 2008 SI coupe totally stock.
I plan on doing I / H / E and the tune and thats it.
I do not plan on the track, but if I do it would be the 1/4mile or something of that nature.
I am NOT looking at slamming it...just to get better ride, performance, and look more aggressive.
I think coilovers would be over kill to be honest, however I am not ruling any systems out since I am a noob on suspension. The extent of my suspension knowledge was watching my friend heat up his springs to lower the car....sigh.
Which systems should I look at? Which ones would be a good all around set it and forget it type kit? I can afford the Skunk2 Pro C coilovers, but dont really want to pony up 1500 bucks for something that I might use 10% of what they are designed for.... and the fact that my money isnt endless....I could use the extra money for something else, lol.
Any help would be appreciated...

if you plan on buying full coilovers, just save your money and not waste it on lowering springs. thats just from my experience.

Full Coilover help
I have been looking into these 2 brands of coilovers and would like reviews if possible.
These are 2 brands I can buy locally.
Silver's Neomax: http://www.silvers.tw/product_suspension.html
Gab SS: http://www.rsone.com.my/GAB_Suspension.htm
I am looking for something firm, but not too hard with reduced bounce and roll. They must also be suitable for some Bangkok concrete roads with slightly uneven surfaces for daily driving.
I know everyone wants to slam their ride, but I want them to adjust up to full standard height with the option to lower about 35-40 mm if needed.

Re: ***OFFICIAL 8G Suspension Thread***
I have Skunk2 lowering springs, personally i'm a big fan of them. The car still rides like it is at stock height but it is has a nice height difference. Coil overs will be in the near future but for now the springs work fine.

Coilovers to repalce HFP?
I believe I'm going to be replacing my HFP suspension with a coilover system and was wanting to know what has worked for you. My car is a daily driver and I put on quite a few miles every year. I'm looking for something that will not only allow me to lower my car, but also something that will not have a real harsh ride and give a nice flat stable platform.

Re: ***OFFICIAL 8G Suspension Thread***
I say Skunk Pro-C's, ASR's, or my plan of Koni Yellows combined with Swift springs. HFP comfort and dampening however lower than the HFP's.

i've never heard of neither brand, but looking at the silver's spring rates of 8 front and 4 rear, is going to make the front ride stiff while the rear has an extremely soft ride. idk if you've ever rode in a car like that, but i set my dampers to a setting similar to it, and its not comfortable. so i had to switch back to a slightly softer ride in the rear than the front.
