Default Wheel hub and bearings

I got it all apart and have new Timkin bearings and Dorman hubs. Two questions:

1. which way do the Timkins go in? Does the rubber seal face the clip? Or does it go in the other way?

2. How far do you press the hub in? Do you go “all the way “or do you have to allow some clearance with the knuckle?

I scanned through the old threads and tried to find the DIY and I can’t seem to find the answer to these two questions.

Wheel bearings always press in right to the shoulder. Hubs press in all the way, no gap otherwise you’ll wreck the bearings when you try to drive on it.
