Radiator hoses are formed, so a "custom cut job" would be ill advised as it'll wear down quite quickly and problems will rise. Samco makes colored hoses for the car already, and they're quite nice.

It's called "heat wrap" or "exhaust wrap". And, using it on a stock manifold wouldn't do anything, really. Now, if you had an aftermarket header, it would be worth while. Otherwise, leave it stock, because you're going to regret the coating or wrap, if the manifold ever cracks (which is known to happen).

i got samco ep3 hoses on my car in black. looks nice imo just need a kswap for them. d17 wont work cuz the radiator hoses are on the other side
