I don't disagree with you there, but it is hard not to notice how much work went into the exterior, that could have been put elsewhere. But, I'm not going to get into it, because it isn't my car. He can do what he pleases with it.

I'm a console engineer (remote network monitoring and what not), and today's a rarity. I'm actually covering for another guy. He usually works the 6pm to 6am shift on Sat. and Sun. nights. I'm taking his shifts on top of my regular ones. 36hrs of weekend pay is great cash!

ohh nice. i didnt get off to long ago either. sounds like you gotta great job. im going to school to become a network engineer so im probably gonna be doing the same thing your doing . but as for now, i work at BAE Systems as a Lvl 1 help desk specialist . btw, if you dont mind me asking, how much do they pay for your position? pm might work better. i kinda jacked this thread lol

damn, 3 pages worth of this stuff.

basically i made this thread to show that they hate on us because we dont have all those DIY's etc, they've been around for 5yrs now, us, maybe 6 months?

doesn't matter, a reason i dont go on 7thgencivic is because they are so secure, you go on there, trying to make a joke about someone or trying to give some advise on how they are wasting their time with certain mods (when i've been there and done that) and you either get flamed, have your post deleted or you get banned.

what kind of community is that, i've been saying it for years now, that place is like communism.

not to mention their lack of a good server and it being either down or super slow.

anyways, HT is my home, i love it here, wouldn't change a thing about it.

I had some posts deleted off of there the other day.
Some nobber (lets call him Mr X) was posting **** against people who were flaming all the pictures in the "Take Pics of Local Ricers" thread. All i did was give Mr X some crap because he was sticking up for idiots with 900ft aluminium wings and 28inch spinners on their EM2s (and he was giving me crap for giving him crap in the process!). Yet my posts got deleted and he got praised for having his own opinions!

What exactly was it i was saying if they weren't classed as opinions?

Don't get me wrong, i like the site but it does have some slightly backwards principals.

i have to admit there a lot of members who are a$$holes on that site but if they talk **** just ignore them, its not that hard i mean look at the thread i made of my car, there is this one noob who wouldnt stop bitching about my car and i just ignored him and he stopped.

The site is very strict i must say but its good because i know i hate seeing a thread where someone says they gained 20hp with there intake and another 30 with there exhaust.

Now with the site being slow, it has over 35,000 members, do you want it to be lightning speed? there are times where its slow but its been great for a while now. I know i would never leave 7thgen, i met so many people around my area who help me work on my car and go to meets with all sorts of people, i find it a very helpful and great forum.

200462 users, with 861 active users. (at the moment)

and its lightning fast.

wow the 7thgen. people sound like a bunch of emo ***$. they just need to get their boyfrieds dikcs out off their a$$, maybe then they can finaly stop crying.

i am active on both sites. i love it here becasue i have a dc2. i go to 7thgen for the vast information regarding the 7th gen. ill be honest. people here can be a bit harsh at times. no one at 7th gen talks trash because of the lack of information here. but more of the attitude that alot of people have. not saying its even anyone in this thread. but it seems like people are a bit more helpful on that site. i guees its all a matter of prefference. they dotn want a bunch of useless fighting and that is why posts and threads get deleted. i agree in a way. it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable for any new commers. but there isnt anywhere near the infor there for b series as their is here. i also frequent b20tvec and nonvtec.com. just for more informational purposes. both 7thegn and htech are great sites. but they are also geared towards different cars.....

They might be more helpful, but consider the source on some of that help.

Honestly, 95% of the posts in each thread are complete mis-information. There are a few folks who know their stuff, but they are few and far between.

But before this thread gets carried, I had better close before someone starts a war. Sorry.
