Icon2 K-swaps, Em2's, and California Smog codes?

To anyone with a k-swap in cali, i was wondering what was necessary to pass the strict smog codes. I'm deciding on what k series I would want, but IDK if its harder to pass a k24 over the k20, or even a frank. If u have a k and live in cali and can pass smog, the legal way, any info would be great. (I would prefer a k24 or frank k24/k20 since i would do a modest n/a build.)
