Default Engine Swap

I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX (four door), Selling the car is out of the question right now. It is an Automatic transmission, and I would like to increase power in it. I have toyed around with the exhaust, intake, etc. But I am considering a re-built Engine swap once i save more money. I have 81,000 miles on the D17A1 and i would like to get it to 120k b4 the swap. Anywho, Idk what motor i can install with the stock auto tranny. I dont need the stock auto tranny, but i am not going to convert to MT. Could a B16,B18 or K20A2 be an option for such a car. I know this is a weird car for a swap, but once i get the motor I need, Nitrous should make it set for the track. What Engine would be practical?
