Default delete/bypass 05 honda civic ex ecu variable timing solenoid - 1.7l engine P2646 code

I want to delete/bypass the ecu VTEC on my 05 honda civic ex 1.7l D17A2 variable timing solenoid because, someone swapped the motor with a D17A1 non-VTEC motor which triggers the P2646 code. Is this possible to reprogram the computer. Code P2646 tripped (ecu searching for functioning oil pressure switch).
I've read to swap ecu with a LX but I've read it doesn't work due to EX options that quit working.
I've been told to swap heads to another EX D17A2 head.
I've read to ground the oil pressure switch.
I've read to jump the oil pressure switch to the solenoid.
Which is the best, cheapest, or easiest option?
