Default A/C problem

I have a civic but when I turn the A/C on it starts out hot like normal and then it goes cold for about 5 minutes and then it goes back hot. What is the deal. Is it the compressor or something. Please help. Thanks

verify that the vehicle is draining water from the evaporator. If the drain hose is clogged, you'll have no flow of cold air.
