Default Burnt out climate ***** and buttons..

Have you ordered from that site before?
http://ledautomotive.com/product.php?id_product=79
Got this from another member on civic forums.

As many of you know, connecting the illumination wire can fry your climate control lights out. I did not know this yet prior to installing my deck last spring. So most of my lights blew. I have just ignored them ever since. -____-

All 3 of my climate buttons are out.. (the circ.,ac, and rear defroster)
And two of the climate ***** are completely out.
I'm thinking of getting the solderless climate control kit to get this lighting problem fixed. (fyi I'll pay the extra for solderless.)
Also do you know if unhooking this "illumination wire" is the same for a 6th gen civic?

Haven't had this problem.

Why not just replace the bulbs?
How did you install the stereo? Spliced harness, or harness adapter?

Do you know what the bulb sizes are?
I installed my stereo using a harness adapter.

Not sure why it'd cause your bulbs to pop, though. Did it all happen at once, or one-by-one until they were all burnt out?

Thanks! The 3 buttons went out all at the same time. The ***** just went last month. Is it the same bulbs for the ***** and buttons?

How do you replace the **** bulbs? Do you have to remove the black box the harnesses plug into? I didn't really poke around when I installed my deck and didn't see anything obvious.

Sorry for the late response. You remove the ***** first then there is like 3 screws holding that assembly, unscrew those and it should come off. PS: Do not remove the small 4 philip screws. I did that the first time and tried to yank it out no workie.

It's really easy to get to. I just did mine today to check it out. Tomorrow I need to make a trip to get the bulbs. We'll see how much they are at my local honda dealer..
