climate lighting problem

climate lighting problem
i just switched my climate control unit out , and with this one i put in the lights go on and off...if i hit one corner i get them to come back on.
what could be the problem? anyone ever have this happen?

the illumination bulbs are regular incandescent, not LED's. The little lights for whatever button is active are LED's I believe.
