Automatic Transmision Problems
I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX w/automatic transmission.I was driving and then it seemed as if the clutch was slipping slightly.A few mintues later the car would not move what so ever.It would just rev up when i put into Drive or Reverse.I am not too familiar with auto transmissions and am wondering if this is just a worn out clutch or is the entire transmission ready to go.Any feedback and tips to help determine this problem is greatly appreciated.
My wifes car is starting to slip too... maybe we should get it checked out.
It could be one of 2 things man... Torque converter, or the actual clutches inside the transmission.
When you put it in D, does it buck a little bit like normal, or does the car not move at all?

the trans is ready to go. 01-03's usually have the bad trannys while the 04-05 trannys were built better.
if you need a trans i have one off my 04 w/ 35K, no problems whatsoever. i did a 5spd swap.
