Anybody familiar with the 1.7EL?
Hey guys. I'm new to the board and this is actually my first post. I drive a 1.7EL and am looking for a new radiator. I was just wondering if any of you familiar with the 1.7 know whether or not the radiators of an 01-05 Civic would be a direct fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: (y2kferari)
From Wikipedia:
The EL was completely redesigned in 2000 (as a 2001 model) and was now based on the seventh generation Civic. In addition to the slightly more powerful and torquier VTEC-equipped 1.7 L 4-cylinder SOHC engine (badging correspondingly changed to Acura 1.7EL; engine size was dropped from the model name for 2005) with 127 hp (95 kW), distinctive headlight and taillight designs and available leather interior trimmings set it apart from the Civic.
Sounds like a d17a2 to me.
So assuming that, OP: Yes it will work. Only thing to worry about is the mounting points im assuming, but then again they may be the same.
