2005 civic ex belt noise after new timing belt
As stated I have a 2005 civic ex. I had a new timing belt and water pump installed by a garage. Now the car has a "belt" noise when warming up. It sounds like a belt is off track almost. However, the noise gets quieter when the engine warms up. I can't tell if it's a timing belt noise or a secondary belt like power steering ect. The noise doesn't seem to get worse as the Rpms rise. And, the car drives fine with no misfires ect. I am just very particular and the car didn't have this noise before going to the shop. Any input would be appreciated.

remove the alt, p/s, and a/c belts and start the car, no noise means it isn't the TB to blame.
all those belts get removed for the TB job, any one of them could be the cause of the noise if it wasn't tensioned correctly OR if it got contaminated with oil (or the pulley got contaminated)
