I would love to feed you info. But you can also just google it.

It's a lot more work than you thing. Relocate the fuel tank, K swap, CRV trans, custom driveshaft, CRV rear diff/axles and custom fabrication for the rear diff. Most use CRV rear trailing arms, hubs, brakes, and struts. Exhaust relocation (driveshaft takes it's place usually). Kpro obviously.

That'll get you about $6k into it if you do most of the labor. and even then, only 160 hp from a CRV engine, you'll want something like an RSX-S K20A2/Z1 or newer Si or TSX K24 engines for any meaningful power. Those get expensive.

I looked at both of those as a possibility but when a awd civic struck me as a good idea i wanted to see thoughts on it.... I’m trying to avoid a k20 just cuz of the price but looks like I won’t be able to cheap my way outta this build

There is a D17 AWD version in... Taiwan, I think? Also an automatic AWD JDM, but you need the transmission, and the taiwanese(?) trans is the only one I know of that's AWD manual (If that's something you're looking into)

I guess a D17 AWD trans and some CRV rear end parts would work with custom fab work, but then you've added 800 lbs of gear to a 120 hp car.....

Yeah I was looking into that last night I think I might take this single jingle deep and see what I can get out of it the best I can. I’ll take my time and look and see what guys are doing to the 17a2 and get what I can outta this block

I'd building an A2 top to bottom for 15 psi of boost, aiming for 300 hp. It's doable, but you have to do it all- rods, pistons, valves, cam...

A bigger cam, with good injectors and a nice tune NA with supprting breather mods, you *might* tip 140.
