Re: Wink mirror!
You can adjust how it sits so it kind of acts like a visor all the way across. Also, the box says they're universal but that's debatable. Mine isn't "properly" mounted with both bolts for the brackets, just one on each due to a slight incorrect fitment, but it still works fine.
Kulo, you should check your local Autozone/Kragen/Shucks/Napa. I picked mine up from Shucks for $21 out the door.

Re: Wink mirror!
billet or not..this thing is not worth $175.
i bought mine from kragen for 20 bucks. and its the best 20 bucks i spent!
even if this is a "bandwagon" type thing...i would never get rid of mine. its going to be on every car i own from now on...unless super luxury.

Re: Wink mirror!
I don't know how many brands are out there. But the original wink mirror comes with the brackets and everything you need to install into your sun visor location.
I think he was saying the company sells a separate mount kit that allows you to keep your sun visor. This is the windshield kit.
But honestly, the wink mirror itself acts like a sun visor. I don't recall ever driving and wishing I still had sun visors? But I can see people using the wind shield mount kit for more stability.

Re: Wink mirror!
LOL bandwagon trend? the wink mirror has been around long enough since most of you could even walk, but that's a story for a different day. in my opinion, this mirror isn't for everyone and if you do like your visors, having a wink isn't the greatest thing since you'll have to prop your head in a way so it works like a shield. your girlfriends will hate it for sure; i don't know a single girl whose sat in my cars over the years and enjoyed not having shade because i ditched my visors for a mirror (they're usually too short to sit up high enough).

Re: Wink mirror!
I had to chime in on this thread! I agree with Farfromugen this is no bandwagon trend! This was started back in the day! All the old school OG socal guys know what a wink mirror is. Everyone was rocking them back in the 80's in their old school Toyotas,510,Mazdas etc...
