What would you rather have?
hey guys i didn't know where to post this but here we go,
i have a 2000 civic ex sedan 188k on the body and 85k on the rebuilt d16y8 pics are on my profile but i have it up for trade,
i got offered a 90 civic wagon rt4wd has 174k on the chasis and 74k on the motor dohc zc manual trans
my question is what would you rather have a wagon or a ek sedan.
and is this a fair trade thanks noting negative.
the wagon has a rebuilt title from theft is its only con
my car's only con is its a auto trans
heres the wagon
heres my car

Take the wagon. Its got a proper trans, and looks clean. (Hows the interior?) Who cares if it has a rebuilt title. Just make sure you check for shabby welding and INSIST on knowing who it was rebuilt by. It should be on the title, but just in case. All it means was... It was wrecked in some way past the point if the cars value and someone liked it enough to put more than it was worth to into fixing it. Witch also means it has at least been cared for.
Manual - Cant beat a heel-toe
Auto - Can down gear on you and **** you off in a turn
Also Im new to H-T, and thinking about packing my **** up and taking my questions to a DSM forum. They are usually less-rude and more often then not know more than a "Honda kid".
Bunch a rude *****.

Re: What would you rather have?
Seats are no biggie IMO. As long as the dash is still decent an the headliner is alright. Id say buy it now, before someone gets it. carpet and seats can be replaced for a small price most of the time. Check out a place called "Stock interiors" You can get extra plush carpet with "mass" backing for about $170 and Its better than oem (durability wise). If it were my wagon, I would try putting Prelude seats in it... They are light, VERY huggy, great seating position, and look awesome. 4th or 5th gen prelude

That looks new. Brand new. someone took care of it... or it was wrecked bad enough to need a new dash. Like I said... Keep an eye out for the pinch welds... You can tell whats factory and whats done by some guy named "BUBBA HANK JR. " right?
The thing looks great though!
