But isn't that what it's all about?
Call a local rim shop and see what it would cost to get the lips resurfaced. I'd guess about $100 for two, no more than $150. Then a day to repaint, I'd say go for it.

yea i was thinking of powdercoating them the color of the usdm gunmetal itr wheel. But to resurface they gotta sanding the lip and the wheels are forged so i really dont think that will work being that most rim repair shop only know how to fix rims with polished lips.

Hmmm. Might be worth the call, but even if not I don't think the damage would be that noticeable after a fresh coat of paint. BTW, whats wrong with the SW's? They're some of my fav rims.

Don't pass on them dude!!! I had a set of tc05 Wedssports and they were in the same condition as yours and I had them powdercoated gunmetal.....
Then I sold them to a dude with a Type R and he powdercoated them GOLD...

you could sand'em to smooth out those chunk. but that chunk wont go away unless you go n get'em fixed

No Dave is right, or at least on our "15 4x100 TC05's the logos were painted on. i think they are worth restoring. can't beat super light weight super solid forged wheels. Heres how ours look with fresh new frost white powdercoating
