It's a Honda Civic, its meant to be driven. I've owned it for over 3 years and no rust has occurred beyond what LITTLE there was and nothing has spread. I take care of it, and if anything happens, all that means is that it's time for body work. :D
The most fun I've had in my car to date is spinning through 3rd, going uphill in 2 feet of snow, plowing over snow chunks and offroading with it.
