That's titanium natural state/colour</TD></TR></TABLE>
it may be its natural state, but that is a chrome wheel with a titanium based coating that is basically baked onto the wheel, dependin on what head it is it can produce a different color, check out http://www.mfxwheels.com they do this process!

is this a specific coating and heating of the metal? just curious im not strong in my knowledge of metal properties, can anyone help?</TD></TR></TABLE>
yes it this process will work on exhaust manifolds, my cousins company who does this process has done it on motorcycle exhausts and will easily withstand the heat and will not change color

Oh so it's not even titanium then? So these shouldn't be that expensive then...

Re: (Chriz)
I know I'm going to come off sounding like a jackass but I hate them personally and I'm not trying to start a flame war but it just further proves that the "fashion" on this end of "automotive enthusiasm" are worried more about "fashion" and "status" then "performance" and "value".
IMO: Do they "look" nice? I guess that's personal preference, and I'll even say OK they do BUT are they honestly worth it to the regular person that's more concerned with performance? NAH, I don't think so. BALLERS will love them and we'll soon see these at "big time" meets and shows. I just choose to spend that kind of money that I'm sure these fetch in other things.

For their titanium coating, it's $1600 for 15-18" sets. Shouldn't be all that much expensive since it's only the lip. Every coating has it's own finish so everyone's wheel is different.
