Default Project Hatch almost done

COMPLETION PICS ON PAGE 5.............
.
i bought this car about 2 years ago, it was in very good shape, but my high school years got the best of me and i decided to shave the side molding and put a kit on it. big mistake, i regret it everyday, since then i have retrieved the stock bumpers and removed the filler that was caked in the molding. i am currently in school for automotive refinishing, and decided to take on the hatch as a project since it needed to be painted. The color i chose is Electric lime green effect (stock 02 jeep wrangler color) i know its not JDM but i really got attached to that color when i saw it. i hope to be done in about 2 weeks. because i only have class 2 days a week

sound dedning removal




and paint




prep befor jamb base and clear





doors, hatch, fenders, hood and mirrors







jambs






untaped





i hope to have the bumpers and exterior painted by the end of the week, updates soon,

feedback wanted, positive or negative

Looks good. what color is that? Why didnt you paint the exterior with the door jams?

hey i got a question...after taking out the sound deadning how the hell did you clean up inside before paining. im about to paint mine and after scuffing the floor im in for one hell of a mess to clean up.

nice......just like how my car was prepped on the exterior.

but as far as interior. i took my fuel pump cover off, cables, wiring....but not the sound deadening material.

GOOD STUFF....nonetheless

Well another week gone and some progresss was made toward the hatch, got the doors, hatch, fenders, and hood on and lined up pretty damn good, better then they were when it came in. Also got the car blocked down and ready for one last coat of primer, and then wetsanding begins, hopefully paint will be done by the 13 of april.












its getting very close.
