Ive had a flatbed tow truck pull me up by both front and rear benen tow hooks and had no problems what so ever. I have them for track days and eventually racing because it helps the safety crews get the cars out of the way quickly and they dont have to go digging in a gravel trap for your stock ones.
I have a rear one if anybody is interested in buying it.

i think its so if u get it towed it wont mess up ur body kit/lips because the tow hook sticks out of the car instead of being tucked under like stock

its safe assuming you has a usdm bumper support, and its not slaughtered to make it "light weight."
