I am still looking for the guy that paints valve covers to look (somewhat) like the valve train underneath. If I do find it among my paperwork I will post it here, 'cuz its some neat looking work!

Yea, candy apple red is a classic. Nice idea combining that with wrinkle black. Mmnnn... what can I do with that combo?

Yeah doing the intake manifold same wrinkle black. Just a pain to pull it off!!
I bought just a cheapo ebay heat shield thing and then wrapped it in some thermo-tec stuff I bought which blocks a lot of heat! I have a big front mount heat exchanger to really help with the cooling of the air but I'm sure it helps a little bit. Very tight fit in there so a little bit off in the pic.
