I'd rather have some Miatas in my city then most any S2000. Theres a lady in my town with 3 miatas. #1 has a small turbo runs high8's in the 1/8th. The other two are outta this world. #2 is an actuall Monster Miata from Monster Motorsports, with a modified Cobra motor, also rumors of 100shot new for this summer. This thing looked drunk on the autoX course though. The #3 miata has a big turbo with about 350 WHP on stock internals. High 10low 11 MPH traps in the 1/4.

Nice car...just don't like the kit or anything.
I have driven both of those cars and I like the S2k about 100 times more. The miata is a very nice car for the price..but If money is not a big factor I think the S2k is far better. Just the overall feel of the S2000 is amazing. The build quality of the Honda also feels much better. S2000 also has the LSD. Even though the S2000 weighs more I didnt feel the weight at all..you just point and it goes. The feel and sound of the chain is just awsome compared to the Mazdas belt. I also love the visability of the S2000...you can see out the front very well. I think the Mazda's winshield is a little to small..making it harder to see out. I dont really like the gauge cluster in the S2000...think it just takes some time getting used to. Oh yea and the Push button is just too cool...

Both nice cars...S2k if you have the money

I'd rather have a miata than an S2k, but I like Mazdas.. anywho.. they are both nice cars, but the S2k does look sexier..

why hate on miatas? i was never to fond of miatas till i actually drove one. Miatas have potential just like any other car. guess what, i sold my SI for a 00 miata. i love the car...its fun to drive! wait till im done with the car

Miatas are dope and can rip it up on the track....but I dunno about picking it over a S2K.

i actually should retract my statement knocking miatas. i over reacted a little harshly. i drove a miata auto-x style in the fall months and it put its foot up my lude's *** in terms of cornering and just overall handling. it's just not my cup of tea in terms of styling

Miatas have come a long way since 1990 and has come in many different forms with different equipment since then. So have you sampled every one?

fine, ill admit the miatas abilities. but that doesnt mean its not girly. i woulndt drive one, at least not that generation. the newer ones are a little better imo.

you got me on the autox thing, but id still say its no s2k.

ditto...my buddy has a silver 94 Miata w/Panasports, chrome roll bar and some other "retro-looking" cosmetics. He's not much into speed/performance. I drove that thing, and it handles really well but definitely is a slug. Add a turbo though &

Me and my other buddies still sweat him about it being a "girly" car though (can't really say what we really call it!

I agree. Miata is a poor man's S2000. I'd like an S2000. But I'm poor. So I have a Miata.

I also agree that Miata's have an amount of geighness to them. It ain't for everyone. You take alotta sh*t for driving one. Helps to be secure in your own sexuality before picking up on one. Heh.

Last year I sold my CRX to buy my '91 for $2k. IMO, this car is the better track car. But the CRX is more practical. Oh also, Greddy Turbo Miata is a better bang for your buck then a B16 CRX. AND it's CARB legal.

I prefer rwd cars. I really didn't like the feeling of dragging my *** around corners wondering when or if the back end is gonna come out to set you up for a straight. Not so much guessing throttle steering the rear wheels.

I wanna know how one can say a del slo is more "masculine" then my girly car. That's plain silly.

It's fun having the Miata. I've actually grown to NOT like S2000's. I'm aiming to turn my car into an S2k killer now. But it's true, the only way to do it is with boost.

The Miata's #1 advantage over the S2k is its light weight.

The S2000's advantage over my girly car is the amount of rubber you can get under the fenders. I think they get up to 295's in the back. A miata could never match that. That alone will always make the S2k the better car, imo.

2 of my friends have the nicest miata's i've ever seen..the one is a custom widebody w/ bike gas cap(not wild, looks real clean), hard dog bar, jdm tails, conversion headlights, advan rims, greddy turbo an alot of other stuff, its a burn orange color.

The other is sponsered by Nitrous Express, veilside kit, headlight conversion, jdm tails, ssr comps, greddy kit w/ upgraded turbo, recaro's, N-tercooler, teins nd e*managment system. i'll take pictures of them at the upcoming carlisle show
