Pic Request: 96-00 Civics with Rear Lip and dual tip muffler
I wanna see what a 96-00 Civic (preferably a coupe) would look like with a:
1.rear lip that doesn't have a cutout for the exhaust or a cutout that would look good with dual tips.
2.A straight dual tip muffler (not dual exhaust or the nasty ones that angle up at the end)
I really like the dual tip mufflers on cars like BMWs, turbo DSMs, etc. and would like to see it on a Civic.
Mufflers like these

That will look like *** b/c the bumper is notched for a single tip. If you cut it yourself the bumper won't have the "return".

I know. Thats why I want to see a lip with out a muffler cutout at all. And then just have the muffler come out right under it.

To cover up the stock cut out for the single tip muffler. Is it really that hard to understand what I am talking about. Look at a 1st gen turbo Eclipse, Talon, Laser. The rear bumper goes straight across with no indention for the exhuast. The muffler (which has dual tips on turbo models) comes out right under the bumper. I just have always liked the way that looks.

I see what you're saying now. The rear bumpers on 96-00 Civics are rather low though and not tucked up like a DSM. I think the muffler would hang rather low. I would like to see also but I've never seen a rear lip with out the cutut for the muffler.

I'm thinking the right muffler is going to be wayyy tooo close to the flare of the lip.
