ok the in the ps I am using, when I goto recolor the car everything gets colored (including the headlights) how do I make it not do this?
first off. make a duplicate the layer, then do the coloring on the second layer (ur duplicate)...so then you can go and erase the headlights because the original pic is on the background.

ok i get it, this is odd b/c it only happend when I did my car (since it is silver) It didn't happen when I did another car (it was blue so I could select blue on the drop down screen)

if you cant use the lasso tool you could use the magnetic lasso tool....makes things much easier cuz it attaches it self to the lines of that your outlining....

i use the polygonal lasso...much easier when u have a shitty mouse! and Chaos69 if u lower the saturation and play around with the brightness the color will look alot more realistic!
