Re: painting? (skata89)
Remove the bumper, fenders ,rear bumper, side skirts...
Then go buy some
200- 350- grit M3 automotive sandpaper
This will help remove some paint.... you can also use a chemical called acetone
it will burn you're skin with prolonged exposure
Remove all the paint untill you have a clean work surface
I recommend using a handsander or some type of airtool with a buffer
Take ur time and do a good job
Prime your panels with a couple light coats to fill in the scratches... not for coverage; get a good self etching primer this will bond to the metal and make painting process much easier in the long run:: also try to find a primer that will contrast ur paint to the extreme:: this will let whoever sprays ur car to easily see if even coats are applied
Purchase some more M3 auto-sandpaper in 600- 800- 1000- 2000-
Keep sanding and look at ur panels in the sun or under good floresent shop lights
You may use the 1000grit and 2000 grit b4 and after for the wetsanding

No watersand it with 320 grit wet/dry 3m paper and u only primer where bodywork is needed or if u sand to bare metal then u prime those spots. But most cars need alot of prep before painting!!
