yes, these tires are shot.
keep in mind...the car spins in 2nd, 3rd, 4th under full throttle....so traction is always limited.

Re: (chet)
decided to prep the front of the car for the new intercooler setup...
old grill was included with the IC setup...so i used a spare grill which had all mounting tabs...
plus i cut up the bumper support so now i can run a 4inch thick IC core.
i then ground off the rust...and re-painted the bumper support

i have ground control/koni's on the back, ground control kyb's on the front.
i have a chipped ecu with safc for the time being...will be running aem once i get the bugs worked out.
as far as updates...i'm just waiting on parts right now.
things should start to happen again in the next week or so.

Re: (Nate047)
it took 3+ weeks to get the intercooler in from an ebay auction...and to be honest i'm not that thrilled with it.
for some reason...i underestimated the size intercooler i could fit with the additional trimming i did. the IC is made by spearco and is in excellent shape...but i'm thinking i may want something a little bigger...i need some more opinions.
dimensions are 26 x 8 x 3.5.

nice rebuild. I used to own a Turbo Colt a few years ago but i got into an accident and totalled it. I was about to swap for a 4g63. Weren't you on 4g61t.org back in the day? I was the only one with 5 lug eclipse brakes.

Easy. I used a a FWD eclipse rear axle and I grinded down the front bushings and drilled a hole to mount the panhard bar.
