yes, these tires are shot.

keep in mind...the car spins in 2nd, 3rd, 4th under full throttle....so traction is always limited.

decided to prep the front of the car for the new intercooler setup...

old grill was included with the IC setup...so i used a spare grill which had all mounting tabs...

plus i cut up the bumper support so now i can run a 4inch thick IC core.

i then ground off the rust...and re-painted the bumper support

it took 3+ weeks to get the intercooler in from an ebay auction...and to be honest i'm not that thrilled with it.

for some reason...i underestimated the size intercooler i could fit with the additional trimming i did. the IC is made by spearco and is in excellent shape...but i'm thinking i may want something a little bigger...i need some more opinions.

dimensions are 26 x 8 x 3.5.

pics...

nice rebuild. I used to own a Turbo Colt a few years ago but i got into an accident and totalled it. I was about to swap for a 4g63. Weren't you on 4g61t.org back in the day? I was the only one with 5 lug eclipse brakes.

Easy. I used a a FWD eclipse rear axle and I grinded down the front bushings and drilled a hole to mount the panhard bar.
