Re: My 5 Gen Accord!
Our user names are almost identical. We are also residing in the same state. How weird. I also drove the same car when I was your age; 16 when I got it. I think we have the same exhaust too. My Accord used to have a F22 vtec w/automatic. I think it ran high 16s with I/H/E on a good day.
Here are three pictures for comparsion:
Good luck with your build. It is going to cost a pretty penny to get that car down into the high 14s.

Couldn't have said it better. Unless your going to run a setup like Booja, and a good few who own 5th gens know who he is, your not going to beat anyone.

Re: My 5 Gen Accord!
haha i just have to laugh at this... i don't understand how you can beat boosted hatches when i can walk your year accord and yet i still get spanked by a boosted civic.. and my car weighs 3300lbs. 3500 with me driving it.
heres a few street cars that make over 400+whp and are dd cars... both cars running gt35r's and stock motors
and my sohc turbo untuned putting down almost 200whp at 10-12psi, my daily pizza delivery car... for a month haha
its not pretty but it'll leave you pretty far back once it starts spooling

Re: My 5 Gen Accord!
I have no budget! I spend about 95% of my money on my car when i can. Im still in school so i cant work full time so i cant make as much as i'd like to. Otherwise i would have more done to it! I got my JDM CF Type R Spoiler in today. That will go on soon, CF Mugen style front and rear lips, Hood, and Grill will be on as soon as i finish my custom turbo build. Shouldnt take more than a month to get that done before i tune it. Then as far as the 5 spd thing goes, i cant really explain it so i will just let your imaginations run wild... Its gonna be an auto but with independent bodies in it so i can shift into first at anything lower than 80 or so and have hella torque from a roll but at the same time i will have a gear to launch out of from a dig. And when i dont want to shift i can just put it in D and go with the auto style. I will try to find a video of my friend's Camaro that did it, its bad ***!
As far as the exterior looks, i wanna go more sleeper for right now, i am ordering a Mugen lip for the rear and the front next week though. 199$ shipped! I was gonna buy an SiR wing but the flushmounts are over rated, they are hardly spoilers... Just stick on lips for your trunk...
I really like the CD accord, best of luck with the plans that you make.

Re: My 5 Gen Accord!
I just bought a GSR with 290,000 miles. Runs like a champ.
If you want after school, I can ride up to Jenks and we can jump on Highway 75 and pull you with my 290,000 mile POS and my Co-pilot will record it and I can post on here for a quick laugh.
I would like an Interview after the race and a video walk around of this amazing 5th Gen.
