It just looks really cheap with a bad quality finish. Not knockin the style just how it looks.
Theres a candy red G35 with with a kit that is fantasticly done around my area. I guess you get what you pay for.

i need to get some better pix up.
the bumper in the rear looks wavey to me but im okay with it the rest looks alright. the paint is right on tho its the bumper itself that sux.
tanabe springs and nismo copy exhaust in the garage ready to go on soon

it's wavy because you didn't prep the bumper, most of the cheaper body piece needs sanding and skim coat to get it smooth and flat. you are right about paint, it has nothing to do with the wavy, it's all the body work.
stuff like this should be fixed before primer, sounds like the school doesn't really care

a large problem with this kit was the gelcoat layer was really really thin. the teacher said it was the thinnest hes ever seen. the reason i got this was because my other bumper was keyed baaad and insurance gave me some dough for it. otherwise i prob wouldnt have even thought about getting a kit in the first place
