Why do you hate that hood, it looks good and the fitment is great.

Hmm, maybe its just the angle, or maybe the fact that the headlights are usdm... but the corners of the hood look too rounded. I've seen VIS hoods on G2's before and they didn't look like that.

Look especially at the passenger side corner of the hood where it meets with the tip of the fender, it just doesn't seem to flow right. Same goes for where it dips down inbetween the headilghts.

But like I said, maybe its just the pic messin' with my eyes.

DAMN you looking at the pic a little to hard... and its a REAL VIS HOOD.. if you would like pic of the name on the hood we can do it...

oh you know im game.. its not turbo right now.. but it has a JDMB16 in it..all stock. i might bolt the turbo up to that motor and wait on the ls block to get sleeved.. i have all these nice parts pistions and rods etc.... sitting here with no sleeved block..lol... but just hit me up on the cell so i can clean it up and all..... its nasty from the swap...

I don't doubt its a VIS...And in fact I've heard almost nothing but good about VIS.... it just doesn't look like any other VIS I've seen on a G2.

Not saying that it IS a mistake... but a friend of mine ordered a VIS hood for his EG and one of the corners near one of the headlights was not trimmed properly, so mistakes do happen.

But like I said before... maybe its just the pic?

i see the hood everyday and i think it fits perfect. you might just be seeing things. or it could be that your frineds had the rubber peice on the hood that goes there. greg is to lazy and hasnt put his on yet but it still fits perfect. try not to look at the picture to hard its just a picture.

yeah, that rubber piece could have something to do with it.....he should definitely take the time to put that piece back on.

As for looking hard... IMO its often the little details that are important to me...
