While scouring the facebook marketplace, I came across a vendor trying to sell Mugen exhaust tips. He was asking about 1K for them but was hesitant in providing what exhaust they came from or the part number. They look almost like a CNC copy. He was selling other legit Mugen items though. I tried looking through the Mugen catalog to see if there were any exhausts out there where this tip maybe came from but couldn't find anything. Just trying to see if there any Mugen experts that might be able to tell whats up?
We deal with Mugen quite a bit here at work, but I've never heard of them selling just tips. I would call King Motorsports and see what they have to say about it. They've been dealing with Mugen for years.
Edit: $1k for a tip sounds dumb high, hell you can buy a whole Twinloop exhaust for $1300.
Oh for sure, I am in the market for an exhaust and I am specifically looking for a dual tip setup. I like the look of the old mugen exhausts but I can't run those real old ones as the piping is too small for my build. I plan to get/modify another mugen exhaust or make a custom one and would love to finish the look off with tips like these.
