Re: Lowered EK Coupes
and dude grab some coilovers..i had lowering springs and later on you will want a lower look..like ppl say do it once and do it right...
but it is a good experience to install lowering springs..it was a ***** installing the front...i had h&r sport springs..but having stiffer springs on stock shocks..you'll get a crappy ride..very bumpy too..theres alot of cheap coilover sets out there though...if you want inexpensive with damper quality D2 is the way to go...

You guys really need to stop thinking that Tokico blues are performance shocks. THEY ARE NOT!! They are just your regular old OEM spec replacements!!
Almost every n00b in the Honda scene switches out their blown shocks for Tokico HP's, then proceeds to slam it with eBay coil overs.

Re: Lowered EK Coupes
My car rides like a Connestoga wagon or maybe like a brick in a moonbounce. Not quite what I'd call a back massage but man does it hug the curves.

sheesh, this thread is still circulating?!
Ah, well, here's mine in action. I'm running Koni Reds adjusted halfway stiff on Eibach Sportlines. About a 2.25" drop from stock, running about 2* camber in front, 2.25 rear with toe zeroed. Rides and handles great. No way I could go any lower. I drive this car too much and Illinois/Missouri roads suck teh big one:
And another one with the suspension slightly loaded on the passenger side. nb4 pics of wife request:
And, at the risk of me looking like a douche, a static shot. Gimme a break, I was on vacation! You can't see it too much, but I'm just *barely* tucking a little bit of tire in front. I've got about a finger width gap between tire/wheelwell on 16x7 Rotas.

lol, my 2000 is also an ej8 (I think), but I gave up on arguing this a long time ago, and just accepted that 75%+ of this forum thinks anything 96-00 is an EK.
