Yes it was painted but it use to be rio red before. The hood was dented when i bought it so the emblem was shaved.

What do I think?
I think you have built a very very nice car. I always try to add some constructive criticizm but with your car, I would honestly not change ONE thing! I love how you kept the stock heat sheild and intake assembly. I love when motor swaps look like they belong in the car from the factory.
What are your future plans with it? In my opinion, I would leave it as is because you're done!
