I painted mine gold 2 days ago and let them dry for a day and decided that i hated them and they were too bright so painted them blue to see what i thought and think i like them now. I may however paint them black at some stage.

How does painting the calipers make the car look cooler or drive faster... it just seems a little pointless.

Don't mean to knock this whole thread or anything, but who sees your brake calipers?

its not that its pointless, its for the owner of the car. some do see the calipers while your driving down the road if you have after market rims. if it seems pointless why post up in the thread?

Because not everyone likes to see ugly dark brown calipers behind nice shiny rims. Painted calipers can make a set up look a lot cleaner.


Not everyone here fixes up their car to go faster.

Thanks dude, its duplicolor engine enamel. its held up so far for street use, not sure if it would hold up for a track event. time will tell i guess.
