Nope. It says right on the box that it won't strip your wax. And it definitely didn't take mine off. It made it feel & look even better IMO.

Pfffft; I won't ever touch that stuff.
Water doesn't just magically disapear leaving your car spotless and soft.
The 'pur' water is just chemicals that soften the water.
Same stuff as those spot-free no touch quickie car wash.
I would love to see long time effectsof this.
Save your money and use a little elbow grease.
Spray-on car wash......cmon; is this serious?

Don't you normally rinse soap off your car? Maybe you just leave the soap on, but I think the rest of the world sprays it off.

Hey listen.
You don't have to get nip-picky technical.
If you wanna go on sprayin chemicals on your civic w1T Da BLinG BLaNG wh33Ls that's fine.
I was tryin to show other people what exactly the purpose was, so if you do everything the same, what's the point; you get to "spray on the soap"?

Re: (Louie_EM1)
Exactly. It is fine.
The whole point of the system is that you don't have to dry your car. Period. That's it. An added benefit is that you don't even need a bucket.
How you normally wash a car: spray, soap, rinse, dry
How you wash a car w/ Mr. Clean: spray, soap, rinse
I like washing my car, but I hate drying it, so this is an ideal product for me. It leaves my car looking just as nice, if not nicer, than how I regularly wash it.
If all YOU can do is bitch & "nip-pick" then don't buy it. You obviously don't get the point of this product or how it works. So don't buy it if that's how you feel. But you don't need to get shitty because other people like something you don't.

Re: (JDMER)
mmmmkkk.
I see, we're starting the 'bitching' game; Im not too bad myself.
Bucket - 3 dollars
Towels - 2.50
Your car lookin like **** later on (not sayin it doesn't now <--cheap shot) because you can't except the fact that water doesn't just evaporate into the air like magic without any chemically balanced water softener and that you're too lazy to dry your car or spend money on basic wash utencils which you probably already have in your garage behind your nasty rims <--cheap shot, again. - Mother ****** priceless
I don't give a **** that you don't agree with me. What's your defense? That laziness proves worthy to put a risk on your paint's life?
Just when I think Im giving my opinion to people that may be making a mistake I get bitched at.

Wait a second, is that what evaporation is? Water just doesn't stay around forever dude, its has to go somewhere. You think it just sits in that towel your drying your car off with?
I see the point your making, there might be additional chemicals in the soap solution that will make the water evaporate quicker, but do you know for a fact that it could be harmful to your paint? If you don't and your purely going on your sole opinion I don't think you should get so upset that someone is saying you might be wrong too...
If you're so worried about yours and everyone else's paint jobs it would be great if you went and got the "ingredient" list of the back of the box and researched them, and if any of the chemicals would possibly be harmful to paint, then if you have something real to complain about, report back to us, instead of making fun of this girls rims and posting stupid pictures of ostriches....Or you could just not use Mr. Clean....
P.S. Luis has insomnia and watches to much T.V.

Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the first one to point that out! Terry towels can cause scratches & swirl marks. You should use a microfiber towel or chamois. But I guess Mr Smarty-Pants already knew that, right?!

Thanks. It's not too bad at night, unless it's raining. Then it's a bit hard to see. But then again, I'm pretty much blind anyway! For me, the pros of having it tinted outweigh the cons.

Re: (B18C5_EK)
I took the liberty of getting the ingredients list from the soap, in case anyone wants to check them out.
Ingredients:
Surfactants
Dry Rinse Polymer
Water
and NO PHOSPHATES
Other than that, the only thing you're putting on your car is purified water.
I'm not saying that I know for a fact that this stuff won't eventually cause damage to my paint- I can't say that because I'm not a scientist who's done studies on this stuff. But for right now, my paint looks & feels great! And there's no proof whatsoever that this stuff is harmful to my car's paint. Until someone brings me a scientific study proving that it is, I'm going to continue to use it!
