For my car.....The guy that had it before me took the emblems off and broke the pins off that held them to the car by just prying them off I think. Anyway....this didnt make too much of a problem ...I got some of that molding tape from walmart..put it on the back and trimmed it to fit and just lined it up and stuck it on...It looks fine...cant even tell they ever came off....dont know if they would come back off real easy though...I havent tried

What emblems are you talking about? The Honda 
emblems leave holes behind. The badges on a 96+ come off with dental floss and a hair dryer. I have a 94 and the stickers came off with a credit card. i washed and waxed the area and it looks good.

the type s badge is probably a ssticker, so the hairdryer and floss method should work fine.
i dunno how the acura symbols are put on tho.
