I did an extensive search on the topic and have the 3 brands to choose from.
JDM hp $39.99
JC Whitney $19.99
Mr Gasket $25-30
Is there really a big difference between these locks?

all I can tell you is this... don't get this expecting it to serve as hood pins. I have seen cases of where the CF/Fiberglass hood has popped up and opened on the freeway. It is advised that you use this with hood pins.

what? the person probably installed the hood locks wrong. they serve just as good as hood pins
