Those are the gayest wheels to ever be embarked on the GS-R. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice paint job, but I don't understand why they gave the 96-97 GS-R those stupid LS mesh wheels, bleh.

what kind of paint did you use? any special prep work? im lookin into either painting mine or having them powdercoated gunmetal.
they look really nice by the way!!!!

while everybody is getting their wheels gunmetal color, I'am sticking with the polished oem looks. It looks cleaner than ever! OEM ownz!

duplicolor. go to a local advanced auto parts and they should have that color.
i used 1 can of primer, paint, and clear coat.
1 coat of primer, 2 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clear coat.
alot of poeple sand there wheels, i just washed it real good.
but im sure sanding it would have made the paint stay on longer.
