i accidentally posted this in the integra forum, meant to put it here.. pics are huge purposely so you can get a good look at the rust to help me out... how much do you think this'll cost? do i cut out an area around it and weld a new piece on?

holy mother, that thing looks like a disease in the first pic

is that on the front fender or rear fender of your teg?

 

rear fender.. i know it looks like a disease in the 1st pic, and the 2nd pic sorta looks like a hardened nasty ***** anything i can do about this??

 

hmm...i would think it'd be your best bet to cut out the area with the rust, and weld in a new little piece, rather than welding in a whole new rear fender...im not really sure on how much it'd cost, but it'd be cheaper than a whole new fender and repaint for sure

but then i think it would be hard to keep the shape of that part of the fender with a flat piece being welded in, so i guess you'd have to do some shaping
