Front bumper mod increased I/C air flow
I took a couple inches off the bottom via dremel tool. This was just enough to reveal the last 2.5/3 rows of I/C that had previously been blocked by the front bumper cover. I also took a small section out of the sides in order to make it look uniform. This also opened up some room for air to travel around the sides of the I/C endtanks. I then finished it off with some sand paper to take away the barbs left by the cutting. Let me know what you think whether it is positive or negative feedback.......

Re: Front bumper mod increased I/C air flow (-JEREMY-)
Body work........my new venture. I can tackle big aluminum wings, huge body kits, shaving, molding, and altezza installs with confidence now. lol I'm not into the whole appearance thing, so this is a first for me and a first to make a thread in this section. I usually can be found in FI, classifieds, and sometimes EG+ secitions. I would like to do cosmetic stuff like CF hood, CF lip, rear Si lip, color matched sideskirts, etc or even a Domani conversion, but that would have been money that could have gone to making the car faster.

Re: Front bumper mod increased I/C air flow (maxpsi)
Ya, I double looked at it, then read, then looked for a third time. Then i meditated for about 5 hours staring at the pics printed out, and took a nap, and then I figured it out. Nice job though.

Thanks, guys. Yes, it may look cool, but, again, the only reason I did it is for functionality. That is what I am all about.
Btw, this has to be the most actively viewed forum because I've gotten way more responses in this section than in other sections where I have posted.

Yup, that was lame. lol

Re: (superAmerica)
i did that with my se-r, then the bumper cracked in the middle from the flex. i would advise you to put a lip on it, it will hold it together so it wont split.

Thanks. I need to do a little more sanding and grab some touch up paint (had some rocks chip paint in that area).

Wasn't that hard once you read up on it and measured everything accordingly, was it? Fun times

I see what you're saying, but this wasn't a huge amount taken. Very suttle, as you can tell by people's responses.

My friend picked up a CF hood and lip for somewhere around $475. That is how much I am about to spend on a new manifold and 3" DP.
