Falken Ziex 512 vs. Ziex 502
I ordered some Falken Ziex 512's in 205/50/15 to go on some '95 EX wheels that i'm gonna put on my 2001 Accord 4 dr. But, after hearing some comments of others on the board...i realized that this tire size is too small. The tires are on backorder. So, i'm considering getting some Ziex 502's in 205/60/15. They're the same price. But, I wanted to know if the 512's were a lot better than the 502's. Anybody have either of these? Is there an advantage to one or the other? Please help.

how do you figure that's too small a tire for an accord? that's an aspect ratio of, what, 10 less than stock? 5 even? there's no problem with that tire size.

Re: Falken Ziex 512 vs. Ziex 502 (VTEC)
both ZylexSNL and I have the 512's....and i can not believe how well these things perform in both wet and dry situations
the 512's have a different compound then the 502's giving them a little better ride. Also the 512's have a very slight mud and snow rating because of some lines that they made on the outer tread blocks..so if you are looking for something that will also be good in the winter these will be awesome

Re: Falken Ziex 512 vs. Ziex 502 (ef9er)
Thanks for all the advice. I think i'm gonna just stick w/ the 512's since it seems to be a slightly better tire. Also, I do plan on lowering later. So, guess i'll just have to live w/ the wheelgap for now.
