ES Oval with tip question.
Hey guys I was in the market for an affordable/effective muffler. I like the ES Oval and the magnaflow mufflers, they're cheap and people give them good reviews.. I don't, however, like the look of just the plain exhaust sitting...
I want to put a tip on it when I get the custom piping done at a muffler shop. My question is, Does the ES oval bolt onto the EG only one way with the muffler sitting all close to the bumper? Or can it be pushed back further to accept a tip?
That is a picture of a tip that magnaflow sells... I've never seen the tip on any car before so I dont know whether it will just look gay as hell or clean. I'm going for a GSR exhaust tip type look.
If that tip is not good, does anyone have a tip they could recommend as well as pictures of it on a car?

Re: ES Oval with tip question. (Plugg'd)
Most, if not all muffler shops worth a damn will be able to perform the work you want done. As for the size of tips, I have a 2.5" tip on my accord and it really looks stock so my suggestion would be to go slightly larger than pipe diamater as a 3" tip should look good but not like a midget-shooter .
